Miles of Trails.....

Jason and I went to Medicine Bow National Forest again yesterday.  Really, you can ride here every day for a year and still not see all of this forest!  It is huge!  Check it out online if you have a chance.  We rode to a rock mine this day and toured around an area we had not been to yet.  We have lots more to see here!  This portion of the forest is a smaller area closest to Cheyenne.

This is an entrance to one of the rock mines...we were brave and went in!  Lacy is a trooper, "rocks - no problem!  Follow me!"

Here is the outside of the other mine.  It was pink everywhere and the road leading up to it was scattered in white quartz-like rocks.  It was beautiful!  I think it would have really sparkled in the sun.  It was cloudy the whole time we rode.

Here is Lacy and Jason inside the second mine (the one you just saw Lacy entering).  It was like a rock quarry, it had a small entrance and pretty pink wall and floor surrounding us.  It was really cool!
These pictures don't do the color of this place justice!  I wish you could have been there!
