Not Quite...

Day #3 of this Pre-winter blizzard/storm/white crapa-ganza -

Jason was supposed to leave this morning to meet Chad at hunting camp in Walden, Colorado. The wind was a whistling and a whipping all night and this morning. It has gotten warmer today, by about 10 degrees. That extra warmth has changed the snow from blowing to hard enough to stick. The wind is still blowing, but it has stopped blowing the snow. So, Jason was ready to leave. Got the truck all packed, grabbed a cup of coffee and tried to head out... The Silverado got stuck right where Chad had gotten stuck yesterday. Had the snow been all fluffy like it was yesterday, I do believe Jason would have made it through and on to the road. Nope, the truck dug right into the snow and stayed there. We tried and tried to dig it out. Obviously that didn't work :( I said "let's call AAA, let them get us out!". We went back into the house. I called AAA at 11am. They told me the tow truck wouldn't be there until 330pm, all the towing companies were swamped right now. We resolved to wait, in the house, of course ;)
