On the way home from our hike, along I-25, we saw a tornado off to the East. It was close enough it made me pretty nervous! I did not zoom in the camera. I took these pictures through the windshield, while we were driving. The tornado did look like it was touching the ground, but by the time I had gotten the camera out it was starting to retreat back into the sky. You can still get the gist of what is happening here.
All of the pictures are of the same tornado. The sky was crazy looking and we could see the swirls of clouds around the tornado.

Holy crap! The tornado looks like it was too close for comfort. Kinda scary, but you did get some good pics.
