Jason and I and my sister Melissa and her husband Craig went to Terry's Bison Ranch. Here are some pics of the buffalo herd and the camels who beg treats from the people on the train :) I got to feed a treat to one of the camels. Terry's Bison Ranch has 3500 head of buffalo on the ranch. This is a small pen of breeding females, calves, yearlings and a bull. The bull is about 20 years old, the tour guide said and has a few more breeding years left. They can be 30 years old in captivity. She said that the captive buffalo are a foot shorter and weigh 500lbs less than the wild buffalo that used to roam this area. Nonetheless, they are amazing to see.
The bull is laying on the left here. You can see his size compared to the cow next to him.
