We took the dogs to Medicine Bow National Forest Saturday for some fun! Zeke's doctor gave him the okay to run and play and swim :D The only restriction is that he needs to stop and rest before he gets tired.
We had to monitor Zeke closely so he wouldn't tire out. His body is going through a lot and that takes some of his stamina away from him. The doctor told Jason that Zeke won't tell us he's getting tired, he will just wear himself out ( being a lab ;) and that we need to make him stop and rest before he exhausts himself.
So, we planned on a nice low key afternoon at the forest. As low key as you can get trying to hold a lab back from EVERYTHING he loves to do! We had a great time and we think Zeke got the right amount of playtime.
We are planning on going out every Saturday for some swimming & hiking as long as weather permits. Then we'll move onto playing in the snow! (Which comes in second to swimming for Zekey!)
