This past Friday I decided to find some snow for the dogs. It hasn't snowed much in town, so we went looking at Medicine Bow, near Laramie - where we ride the horses and take the dogs hiking in the summer.
We found some pretty big snow drifts on a fairly simple trail we could still walk down. I had to abandon the first trail I had chosen. The snow was 3 feet deep just getting to the trail head! The dogs and I were struggling to even walk a few steps! We then doubled back and took another route.
Here are photos from our morning hike:

Got a little deep in spots!
