15 Hours and 2 Sun Burns Later....

We did it!!  We re-posted and re-strung all of our fencing for the horses!  Boy, it needed it too!  When we moved in, the pasture fencing was already in poor condition.  Flint, (yes my boy Flint) has been making it worse by stretching through the fence to reach the greener grass on the other side.  The T-posts were bent outward and randomly spread apart around the pasture, making the wire weak with lack of support.  It was a matter of time before it was going to be "broken out of"  :P   Jason and I bought some supplies and put our hard work into it and I am proud to say, we did a great job!  We dug out all the old T-posts, measured, and replanted additional T-posts.  We added 30 more to what was already here.  Then we re-clipped the wire to the posts and added these fence tighteners (pictured) to all the wires on every side of the pasture.  We will now be able to just turn the tightener and that will pull each wire straight and taught again.   We did not walk away unhurt from all this.  We are both badly sun burned.  We hadn't planned on being outside finishing this for 10 hours on Sunday.  Next thing we knew, we looked like lobsters!  It hurts, alot, but now the fence is fool proof....I mean, Flint proof!  ;->
