Here is our newest addition, The Black! Black is a Tennessee Walking Horse and is 13 years old.
We put Flint in George's pasture and let Black loose in our pasture when we got home. Black rolled before he went to see Flint. He spent almost 18 hours in the trailer traveling from WI to WY! He was such a good boy! The trip back took longer because we stopped many times to let Black rest. It's hard on a horse standing in a trailer for 950 miles! He isn't able to relax while we are moving, so the stopping for rest is much needed. He was tired during the trip, but in good spirits. We had no troubles traveling and he was perky when he heard Flint calling for him!
Black walked over to Flint and said hello. Black was hungry and thirsty from his journey and spent the night eating and drinking and resting.
